The Dictée du Tour de France
The eight Monegasque winners of the 7th edition of the Dictée du Tour de France will be welcomed to the Tour Village on the morning of 21 July and invited to head behind the scenes of the start of the Grande Boucle.
These pupils, from Year 5 to Year 8, from Monegasque schools are the winners of a competition organised on 22 March by ASO and the stage towns (the Prince’s Government in Monaco's case): a dictation contest with the aim of correctly spelling a press article about the Tour, in this case the one in the local media Monaco Tribune about the Tour coming to the Principality in 2024. Their classes also received a visit from Antoine Berlin, one of Monaco's two professional cyclists (along with Victor Langellotti), who came to talk about his career.
In 2023, 23,000 children from all over France took part in this event, 300 of whom were lucky enough to attend the Tour.
