The public entertainment zone

Throughout the morning of 21 July, spectators can enjoy a wide range of products and gifts from numerous partner brands and their mascots, both in the streets of the Principality and in Port Hercule, just outside the Tour de France Village (access to which will be reserved for local authorities, partners, cycling teams and journalists).

Also on the programme is an event in support of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque charity, offering free eye and hearing tests, awareness-raising activities (car/cyclist co-existence, recycling/recovery, etc.), exhibitions of partner brand products, a photo-call and 'lucky wheels'.

There will also be shops selling official Tour de France merchandise, official kits and cycling team jerseys.

"Continental Cadets Juniors" initiative

In tandem with the main event and opening the publicity caravan, eight young riders (aged 15-18) will ride the entire stage (to be confirmed by the Monaco Cycling Union – to be confirmed). This initiative, sponsored by the tyre manufacturer, will mimic the experience of a professional team, with official support vehicles, an awards ceremony on the podium and the sound of the official Tour de France anthem.

The Dictée du Tour de France

The eight Monegasque winners of the 7th edition of the Dictée du Tour de France will be welcomed to the Tour Village on the morning of 21 July and invited to head behind the scenes of the start of the Grande Boucle.

These pupils, from Year 5 to Year 8, from Monegasque schools are the winners of a competition organised on 22 March by ASO and the stage towns (the Prince’s Government in Monaco's case): a dictation contest with the aim of correctly spelling a press article about the Tour, in this case the one in the local media Monaco Tribune about the Tour coming to the Principality in 2024. Their classes also received a visit from Antoine Berlin, one of Monaco's two professional cyclists (along with Victor Langellotti), who came to talk about his career.

In 2023, 23,000 children from all over France took part in this event, 300 of whom were lucky enough to attend the Tour.
