Getting to and around Monaco
Travelling by train
Regional Express Trains (TER) take you to Nice (France) or Ventimiglia (Italy) in 25 minutes, with a train every 15 minutes on average and a specially enhanced service for the Tour de France:

Finally, you can park your vehicle at Saint-Augustin station in Nice, making it easy to get to the Principality for the start of the stage and then watch it arrive in Nice with a return ticket.

Travelling by bus
On 21 July, South Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur bus network will be affected from the beginning of service to approximately 7 pm.:
Line 600 (Nice - Monaco - Menton)
- Buses will not be permitted in Nice. A bus terminal for departures from Monaco and Menton will be created in Beaulieu-sur-Mer
- Monaco will be crossed entirely by tunnels, but two major stops will remain in service: “Place d’Armes” and “Place des Moulins”
- As previously stated, a special “Tour de France 2024” city line will run from east to west in the Principality (“Place des Moulins” <> “Boulevard du Larvotto” <> “Place d’Armes” <> “Fontvieille”) to create a connection
Lines 603-604-605 (Nice - La Turbie - Monaco - Peille): no service

Travelling by bike
Bicycle parking will be available in the centre of La Condamine.
Travelling by car
Spectators arriving by car from the west of the Principality are advised to park in one of the following high-capacity public car parks, which will be charging special rates on 21 July:
- Salines car park: the usual special rates will be applied (€7.50 for half a day, less than 4 hours parking/€11 for a full day, between 4-12 hours parking
- Stade Louis II car park: a maximum charge of €13 will be set (normal hourly rate up to this amount)
- Saint-Antoine car park: a special hourly rate, capped at €11 for 10 hours of parking (€15 for more than 12 hours) will be applied
Then, spectators can catch the start of the stage via:
- The Monaco Bus Company services which will all be free of charge despite the special features and diversions associated with the event (Click here to find out more)
- On foot, which takes around 15 minutes from Salines car park via the Galerie des Salines and around 10 minutes from Louis II Stadium and Saint-Antoine car parks
It’s advisable to park in one of the local public car parks (see the dedicated map), then take the Place des Moulins <> Fontvieille line, which will be operating specially for the occasion from 6am to 9.20pm and will serve the following routes every 10 minutes:
- Outbound: Place des Moulins”, “La Rousse”, “Carmes”, “Saint-Roman”, “Boulevard du Larvotto”, “Place d’Armes”, “Albert II”, “Port de Fontvieille”, “Fontvieille (shopping centre)”
- Return: “Fontvieille (shopping centre)”, “Papalins“, “Roseraie”, “Heliport”, “Stade Louis II” (Louis II Stadium), “Place d’Armes”, “Saint-Roman”, “Carmes”, “La Rousse”, ”Place des Moulins”
Travelling by campervan/motorhomes
Due to the organisation of the event, it will not be possible to park camper vans in the Principality of Monaco and they will be prohibited from driving on 21 July from 6.30am to 7pm. Users are therefore invited to check with neighbouring municipalities to find out what areas are available for this type of vehicle.
Travelling by helicopter
With Monaco Heliport, the "Nice Côte d'Azur" International Airport is only a 7-minute flight from the Principality, with a departure every 20 minutes on scheduled flights.
It is possible to carry out, from Monaco, all the registration formalities for national flights and most international flights, departing from the Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport. Similarly, travellers can check in for Monaco from the main foreign airports.
