What impact will this have on your travel plans?

Pedestrian traffic

All access points and almost all pedestrian routes will be maintained, including on both sides of the circuit. It will also be possible to cross the course at a number of points managed by volunteers.

Public car parks

The following public car parks will be closed all day on 21 July:

  • Grimaldi Forum
  • Larvotto
  • Louis II
  • Portier
  • Pêcheurs
  • Digue
  • Quai Antoine I
  • Louis Chiron

Please note the services located in these car parks will not be available.

Cam urban bus traffic

On 21 July, Monegasque Bus Company services will be free of charge.

However, the following routes will not be operating:

  • Line 1 / Monaco Ville <> Saint-Roman
  • Line 4 / Fontvieille <> Saint-Roman
  • Line 5 / Hôpital <> Place des Moulins
  • Line 6 / Fontvieille <> Larvotto
  • Express line X2 / Jardin Exotique - Salines car park <> Monte-Carlo
  • Express line X3 / Larvotto <> Fontvieille
  • Express line X4 / Saint-Roman <> Fontvieille

Other lines will operate on weekdays, with the following special features and diversions:

  • Service from 6am to 9.20pm
  • Frequency: every 10 minutes
  • Diversion via Boulevard Rainier III
  • Stops served on the outbound journey: Boulevard Rainier III “Jardin Exotique”, “Villa Paloma”, “Rotondes”, “Moneghetti”, “Belgique”, “Louis Auréglia”, “Castelleretto”, “Honoré II”, “Place d’Armes (boulevard Charles III)”, “Place d’armes (Porte Neuve)” and “Monaco Ville”
  • Stops served on the return journey: “Monaco Ville”, “Place d’armes », “Castelleretto”, “Louis Auréglia”, “Belgique”, “Moneghetti”, “Rotondes”, “Villa Paloma”,  and “Jardin Exotique”
  • Service from 8am to 8pm
  • Frequency: every 15 minutes
  • The outbound journey follows the normal route to the Canton underground roundabout, then follows a diversion via Avenue de Fontvieille (tunnel); on the return journey, there’s a diversion via Avenue de Fontvieille, Canton, Pasteur tunnel, before returning to the normal route
  • Stops served on the outbound journey: “Hector Otto”, “Villa Paloma”, “Rotondes”, “Moneghetti”, “Belgique (2)”, “Bosio”, “Parc Princesse Antoinette”, “Hôpital”, “Athanée”, “Pasteur”, “Cimetière”, “Place d’Armes”, “ Albert II”, “Port de Fontvieille” and “Fontvieille (shopping centre)”
  • Stops served on the return journey: “Fontvieille (shopping centre)”, “Place d’Armes”, “Cimetière”, “Pasteur”, “Athanée”, “Hôpital”, “Observatoire”, “Parc Princesse Antoinette”, “Bosio”, “Belgique”, “Moneghetti”, “Rotondes”, “Villa Paloma”, “Engelin” and “Hector Otto”
  • Service from 7am to 7pm
  • Frequency: every 10 minutes
  • Stops served on the outbound journey: “Jardin Exotique” and “Place d’Armes”
  • Stops served on the return journey: “Place d’Armes” and “Jardin Exotique” 
  • In service with a diversion via Boulevard du Larvotto
  • The "Monte-Carlo tourisme" stop will not be served                                   

Disruptions are to be expected on the night of Saturday, 20 to Sunday, 21 July due to access restrictions on Boulevard Albert Ier.

Finally, a special "Tour de France 2024" line, linking the east and west of the Principality (Place des Moulins in Fontvieille via Boulevard du Larvotto), will be introduced for the event. Click here to find out more

MonaBike bike-sharing service

From the evening of Friday 19 July to the morning of Monday 22 July, the following MonaBike stations (the Principality's self-service electric bicycles) will be closed:

  • National Museum (Villa Sauber)
  • Grimaldi Forum
  • Larvotto
  • Rose des Vents
  • Darse Nord
  • Chemin des Pêcheurs car park
  • Yacht Club
  • Lemon trees
  • Casino car park
  • Church

Zou! intercity bus traffic

On 21 July, the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur bus network will also be affected from the start of the service to around 7pm:

Route 600 (Nice - Monaco - Menton)

  • As buses will be unable to access Nice, a terminus for buses departing from Monaco and Menton will be set up at Beaulieu-sur-Mer
  • Monaco will be crossed from its entrance to its exit by the tunnels, although two major stops will be maintained: "Place d'Armes" and "Place des Moulins"
  • As previously mentioned, a special "Tour de France 2024" urban line will link the east and west of the Principality ("Place des Moulins" <> "Boulevard du Larvotto" <> "Place d'Armes" <> "Fontvieille"), creating a connection

Lines 603-604-605 (Nice - La Turbie - Monaco - Peille)

No service.
